FrontRange Solutions, the developer of IT Service and Infrastructure Management solutions for mid-sized and distributed enterprises, is looking to augment its technical publications staff with a senior technical writer. This position will lead one or more software projects in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to effectively work with global and culturally diverse departments and groups.
Ability to adjust priorities and quickly learn new technologies and software applications.
Ability to effectively handle multiple projects.
Ability to take ownership of projects and accurately scope deliverables and schedules.
Determine project requirements and write documentation plans.
Required:
Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical or writing field, or equivalent relevant experience.
Experience developing technical documentation for enterprise software audiences.
Hands-on experience with accepted industry-specific publishing tools, such as FrameMaker, ePublisher and WebWorks. Single-sourcing experience is a plus.
Recent experience developing HTML-based documentation with an authoring tool.
Experience writing documentation for internet-based technologies or client-server applications and technologies.
