Marketing Operations Specialist
(Onsite in Mountain View Full-time)
(Salary Range: $45,000 – 60,000, depending on experience)

The Marketing Operations Specialist will be a central onsite resource that will be the team's Power User and SME on Marketo (B2B Marketing automation software). This involves working cross-functionally and collaboratively to support Marketing campaigns that drive revenue and generate leads.
Primary Responsibilities:
I. Marketing Automation Coordination and Support (75%)
• Work with Associate Marketing Managers (AMMs) to build, manage and optimize nurturing programs that hit different points in the lead lifecycle
• Assist AMMs in building and optimizing marketing campaigns, form processing and market segmentation
• Build and deploy operational and survey-oriented campaigns
• Collaborate with team members to manage pre- and post-certification promotions including nurturing campaigns, geo-targeted emails and the referral process
• Create templates and emails for use through Marketo Sales Insight by the Sales team
• Create standard operating procedures for Marketo.
• Train team members on Marketo procedures, metrics and processes
• Work with team members and use Marketo to track ROI and success metrics for every campaign
• Work with the VP of Marketing and the Divisional Director of Sales to ensure the implementation of lead scoring is delivering desired results
• Periodically cross-check data in Marketo and other systems to ensure that programs are running and syncing properly
• Review current marketing processes and campaign objectives in order to determine whether or not they can be automated. Work with marketing team members to implement and streamline automation if deemed useful
• Assist Product Marketing Managers (PMMs) and Website Manager in SEO/SEM strategy and help coordinate strategy and metrics with outside vendor
II. Operations Support (25%)
• Own the process of maintaining the Marketing Campaign Calendar as a system for controlling email load and ensuring prioritization of campaigns. Manage team members' contribution to the goal and result fields of the Campaign Calendar.
• Work with Professional Services to ensure the public certification programs and processes are in line with marketing objectives and are working as needed.
• Develop and maintain a central location for certification marketing materials
• Organize and maintain electronic file systems including the Salesforce.com (SFDC) marketing library and Marketing Shared Drive; review all documents, facilitate updating process, upload, and maintain files
• Work with the Director of Marketing Communications to manage miscellaneous campaign development and deployment when necessary including arranging for list pulling and cleaning
• Create quarterly board packets featuring the quarter's marketing deliverables and campaign results where available
• Assist team members on special projects when requested
Minimum Experience Required:
• Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of related work experience
• Prior experience with online marketing and marketing automation systems; experience with Marketo and Salesforce.com are ideal
• Excellent organizational abilities, including scheduling, prioritizing, follow-through, and multi-tasking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with current social networking sites (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.)
• Working knowledge of Windows-based applications to include, but not limited to: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access
