Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a full-time Data Center Partner Marcom Manager consultant for one of our high-tech clients in San Jose, CA. As part of the Marketing Communications team supporting Partner Marketing, your focus will be on the successful creation of comprehensive, thoughtful marketing communications plans that �connect the dots� from campaigns to solutions to programs, that are executable on a global basis and have measurable metrics. Specifically, this role will be responsible for the creation and implementation of Partner Marketing communications for Data Center/Virtualization (DC/V) which includes: Unified Fabric Switches, Unified Computing Servers, Unified Management and Cloud.
Specific Responsibilities:
Lead Partner Marketing Communications discussions with stakeholders around DC/V solutions and campaigns
Develop the Partner Marketing Development and Communications plan for DC/V solutions
Project and manage the execution of the Partner Marketing Communications plan which includes launches, plays and programs
Provide expertise in multiple areas of marketing: marketing communications, product marketing, solutions marketing, partner marketing, etc.
Responsible for updating webpages for launches and webcasts; leveraging communications vehicles for partner facing initiatives and activities
Support partner ecosystem joint activities and campaigns
Recommend optimal communications vehicles for launches, announcements and other initiatives
Measure results and refine plan accordingly
Skills:
7-10 years of demonstrated ability creating and executing integrated marketing communications plans, and experience with B2B channels and/or partner programs
Prior experience working directly for Cisco (either perm or consulting)
Knowledge of the Data Center/Virtualization market space
Strong ability to partner in a collaborative way to interlock with key stakeholders in the Partner Marketing organization
Message creation
Ability to represent plans/recommendations to diverse internal audiences
Ability to "connect the dots" to develop a comprehensive marketing communications plan
Comfortable working in environments that are undergoing change and therefore not all rules are defined
Able to work in a matrix environment, self-driven
Bachelor���s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or similar
