Paid Media Manager - Rocket Lawyer Inc.

San Francisco, CA

The Paid Media Manager will lead and develop the overall strategy of Rocket Lawyer's paid media programs as part of Rocket Lawyer's customer acquisition and optimization team. This position will be primarily responsible for working with Rocket Lawyer's SEM agency in maximizing the performance of paid search results across all platforms including mobile, tablet and desktop. Managing the SEM agency and working closely with Rocket Lawyer's business, product and web development teams, the Paid Media Manager ensures maximum SEM performance, continued traffic growth, and optimized sales conversions, while staying within budget. The Paid Media Manager is also responsible for driving related paid media programs focusing on customer acquisition in digital channels, including but not limited to paid social, performance display, and remarketing. Building and communicating regular reporting of program specific KPI's and representing paid media in business and program planning is critical to success. The Paid Media Manager will regularly present plans and results to all levels of the Rocket Lawyer organization.

We are not looking for someone with a legal background; rather the right person in this role will leverage their experience managing SEM specifically and paid media in general. This key contributor will also be skilled in analyzing and distilling data to identify actionable insights and will promote the value and importance of paid media throughout the organization. The right person in this role will make a huge (and highly quantifiable) impact on Rocket Lawyer's success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop and work with Rocket Lawyer's SEM agency to execute the SEM strategy, coordinating with stakeholders across all business lines and programs to ensure its effectiveness.
- Maximize SEM KPIs with an emphasis on site traffic, sales conversions, and CPA metrics.
- Continually optimize paid media campaign performance through rigorous A/B and multi-variate testing programs.
- Develop and implement strategies and programs for expanding programs in paid social, performance display, remarketing and other customer acquisition channels.
Be the top advocate for Rocket Lawyer's paid media customer acquisition programs, including promoting the most up-to-date best practices for SEM and paid media.
- Monitor and communicate performance against effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of paid media. Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of activity in an effort to maximize results

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience.
- In-depth knowledge of best-in-class, SEM strategies and methodologies.
- Experience in initiating and optimizing paid social, performance display and/or remarketing programs
- Self-starter with demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative problem solver who inspires innovation across the entire team.
- Ability to multi-task and deliver under pressure in a high-visibility role.
- Experience with Marin or other paid media management tools is a plus.
