Develop new .Net web applications
Enhance existing .net web applications
Provide maintenance and support for .net applications as needed
Provide project leadership
Develop and/or enhance project and technical documentation
Work with State staff to mentor them in .net development skills
Qualification
a. Ability to communicate effectively(verbally and in writing) with technical and user staff
b. Demonstrated experience with developing database driven web-based applications – 3+ years required
c. Demonstrated experience with developing database driven applications in a Microsoft Visual Studio.Net environment with C# – 3+ years required
d. Demonstrated experience with Microsoft SQL Server through version 2008 – 1+ years required
e. Demonstrated experience with object-oriented development techniques – 3+ years required
f. Demonstrated experience with 3-tiered logical/physical architected applications – 1+ years required
g. Demonstrated experience working with users to gather and document business requirements – 1+ years required
h. Demonstrated experience with Oracle – 3+ year preferred
i. Demonstrated experience with Project Management and MS Project – 1+ years preferred
j. Demonstrated experience with automated unit testing – 6+ months preferred
