Marketing Optimization Manager, Social and Analytics – San Francisco Bay Area
A small, well-capitalized, fast-growing pre-IPO company, that provides a suite of financial solutions to growing healthcare providers throughout the United States, seeks a Marketing Optimization Manager. This position reports to the Chief Commercial Officer and is primarily responsible for the planning, organization and implementation of all of the Company's online and print marketing projects.
Core Duties Responsibilities
• Use your expertise in SEO, PPC Management, Conversion Optimization and Reputation Management for our online presence to define the scope of each project with management, the primary objectives of which is to generate leads and convert leads in to clients
• Use your creativity to become our "Growth Hacker," using analytical thinking and social networking to help sell our products and to gain exposure for our company in low-cost and innovative ways.
• Create marketing programs across multiple marketing channels, including online, social, mobile, event marketing, trade and industry conferences, etc.
• Develop physical and other marketing materials for Company's staffing of industry conference booths
• Determine and stick to project budgets and timelines including all necessary resources
• Monitor all social media platforms frequently
• Assist with content creation, creating new and fresh content consistent with the Company's strategic vision
• Design a tactical execution plan using effective time / resource management
• Report and actively monitor and analyze health of marketing contribution to pipeline, program ROI, client acquisition/penetration, contact acquisition/activity, including monitoring online metrics, marketing program performance and other key KPIs.
• Provide management with analysis for marketing investments, pipeline impact and goal setting. Present weekly reporting dashboards to executive team
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, ever changing environment, continually keeping up with current internet marketing techniques
• Assume immediate ownership of developing and executing a successful marketing strategy. "Own" the Marketing function as if you were the boss, including identifying gaps in our strategy and proposing solutions to fill those gaps.
Qualifications Experience
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in marketing / advertising / public relations, including direct to consumer (bonus points for experience with B to B)
• Must have prior experience marketing financial products and/or marketing to healthcare businesses (huge bonus points if you have both)
• Creative thinking, exceptional analytical skills coupled with solid business foundation
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in project management
• Comfortable working both independently and with others; comfortable working in a start-up environment where priorities change quickly
• Experience with business related social media required. Must be knowledgeable in "best practices" in campaign development to optimize efficiency and quality of deliverables. No black hat techniques.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or Communications preferred
