Software Development Engineer
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills are mandatory.
• Minimum 2 years of software development experience and a Bachelor's engineering degree or equivalent.
• Industry development experience for a range of Microsoft Windows operating system versions (32- and 64-bit.)
• Experience developing components and applications using the languages C# and C++. Experience writing platform portable C++ code is desirable.
• Experience developing with different proprietary or licensed third party and open source libraries and frameworks including MFC, .NET.
• Experience developing DICOM components and services and knowledge of other medical or non-medical standards, and file storage formats. Experience coding with security/encryption techniques and both single- and multi-byte character sets is highly desired.
• Experience developing components and services for medical devices is required and experience in the field of Radiation Therapy is highly desired.
• Software development methodology experiences are highly desirable (examples include Design Patterns, UML Modeling, Fault Tree Analysis and Test Driven Development).
• Experience with database access layers, Relational Database Design, HL7, or EDI development desired.
