Position Responsibilities:
The position will lead and set the standard for development activities
within our organization. She/He will be the point person in having
development successfully create and deliver technology on schedule and
budget. The successful candidate will be responsible for the
following areas of management in this role.
Engineering Operations
- Quality processes for development
- Project management
- Program management
- Scheduling management
- Outstanding background in triage of problems
- Superb skills in dealing with priority issues concerning the customers
- Strong demonstrated skills in both tactical and strategic planning
Product and Technology Development
- Must possess strong knowledge of the balance between customer needs
and technology and human capital resources
- Have strong knowledge of the utilization of both internal and
external resources
- Solid experience in thinking "outside the box" use of OEM, open source, etc
- Successful candidate must be a consummate team player
- Individual must be a highly collaborative, flexible, visionary
- Strong communication skills able to evangelize the ebeam technology
to customers
People and Organizational Management
- Must have a track record of accomplishment in managing successfully
groups of engineers with different attitudes, skills, and persona's
- Has to have demonstrated success in development and successful
release of several commercial successful products
- Skills in hiring and creation of smart, bright, nimble development teams
- Must have strong experience in dealing effectively with the
engineers concerning performance reviews, discipline, and employee
relations
- Experience dealing with creation and leading team toward specific
goals and objectives successfully
Vice President Development Engineering - Prefer Local Candidates-
Highly prefer EDA experience
- 15+ years of experience in development engineering with a minimum of
8+ years in a management capacity
- Ideal candidate will have BS/MS in engineering or computer science
from a top tier academic institution
- Experience in EDA is highly preferred and background in place and
route or optimization is a significant plus for this role
- The ability and experience in building, motivating, and scaling
teams of engineers is critical for this role. Successful candidate
should have had background in supervision of 50+ individuals
- Significant passion and desire to join a firm and contribute highly
to the success and growth of the organization
- End to end product development expertise in the design and
implementation of methodology to launch commercially successful
products
- Strong self starter, track record of determination, desire, and
success is critical for this role
