[KITlist] Chief Operations Officer (San Francisco, CA)

Please direct your responses to: hr@inveneo.org

JOB TITLE
Chief Operations Officer

MISSION
Inveneo is a 501c3 nonprofit social enterprise, which means that we operate like a business with a social mission. We aim to get the tools of information communications technology (ICT), such as computers, telephony, and Internet access to those who need it most — people and organizations in rural and highly underserved communities of the developing world.

Our model is built on development, not aid. We work with local partners to develop home-grown ability to deliver quality communications technology and alternative power solutions. Our partners address some of the most pressing problems in their communities: health care, education, economic opportunity and infrastructure.

Our organization is growing fast; we project that our revenue will double over two years. In our early stages, we've managed our operations and finances by sharing the duties among several staff and leaders. With the expectation of continued growth, we want to professionalize our organization and our control systems.

We're looking for an operations leader who can help us construct processes and capabilities to take us to the next level. Help us think through our growth path!

 Use your professional expertise to make a tangible difference in the lives of people in some of the most underserved communities in the world.
 Contribute to innovative solutions to pressing international development problems.
