Symantec's Worldwide eCommerce team is a part of the Consumer Business Unit and is focused on better understanding our customers, building customer loyalty and taking share. It also enables us to move quickly and capitalize on trends and innovate products.

The Worldwide eCommerce organization is proud to be responsible for the eCommerce sales of the company's Norton-branded consumer products, as well as the development and management of Symantec's overall Ecommerce solution. Our online storefront is built on cutting-edge technologies and consists of over 30 separate stores across the world, with multiple languages, currencies, and payment options.

Role Description:

Symantec is looking for a search marketing professional responsible for executing and optimizing the Search Engine Marketing campaigns of its Consumer Business Unit.

Job Description:
• Responsible for the tactical execution of SEM campaigns for multiple countries
• Ensure revenue, budget, ROI, and other business goals are met
• Analyze and report various performance metrics of SEM campaigns
• Analyze industry trends, and competitive landscape to exploit expansion & optimization opportunities
• Optimize keyword coverage, keyword bids, account structure, and ad copy
• Design and execute A/B tests on landing pages to optimize performance of landing pages
• Work with Creative, Product/Merchandising, Localization/Translation, and Regional Marketing teams to enhance keyword coverage, ad copy performance, and landing page conversion rates
• Collaborate with the other marketing channels to exchange data observations & learning
• Analyze user behavior on landing pages and conversion funnels using web analytic tools

Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in developing & optimizing large-scale paid search campaigns
• Highly analytical, yet creative, detail oriented, organized and a good team player
• Strong critical thinking ability & communication skills
• Familiarity in driving global initiatives and coordinating across multiple time zones
• Experience in analyzing large datasets in order to gain insights and draw conclusions
• Experience in using keyword bid management and web analytic tools desirable
• Experience in executing and analyzing A/B and Multivariate tests on ad copy and landing pages beneficial
• Exposure to non-paid-search marketing campaigns, such as contextual ads, display ads, shopping engines, is a plus
• Advanced Excel skills required; solid understanding of MS Access, Business Objects, SQL, and HTML is a plus
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic & fast-paced work environment, with an eagerness to consistently exceed objectives and improve processes
• Fluency in one or two foreign languages beneficial
• Experience in working with leading search engines abroad like Baidu & Yandex is a plus
• Education: BA/BS with a strong quantitative background preferred
