We are currently hiring for a Global Account Manager (GAM). The GAM develops and grows revenue from the corporate markets product lines that meets or exceeds sales goals. CCH provides world-wide tax and accounting solutions to the corporate tax and accounting customers. Sales cycles run from 3-12 months with an average of 6-7 months. The GAM services key global accounts. GAM activities include learning and staying informed on the complex and comprehensive CCH product line; executing and contributing to account manage and sales techniques for complex global accounts; managing and developing account list to support a healthy pipeline and meet sales goals; improving CCH market share to meet sales and retention goals; contributing to new product development and software issue resolution; monitoring sales reporting; contributing to sales planning and forecasting activities; participating in the development and execution of annual business plans; managing time and resources effectively; maintaining performance standards while working remotely; and representing Wolters Kluwer within the
industry and territory.

Specific responsibilities and requirements are as follows:

Develops and maintains knowledge of full line of CCH products including features, benefits, pricing, intended use, value proposition and competitive position in order to effectively serve clients.

Executes and contributes to account management and sales techniques for complex global accounts.

Manages and develops assigned account list to support a healthy sales pipeline and meet sales goals.

Improves CCH market share to meet sales and retention goals.

Contributes to new product development and software issue resolution that meets customer needs.

Monitors sales reporting.

Contributes to sales planning and forecasting.

Participates in the development and execution of the Business Development Plan (BDP) and Business
Unit (BU) strategic planning activities.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in business-related field OR, if no degree, 14 years of fortune 500
enterprise software sales experience, in addition to 10 years of fortune 500 enterprise software sales experience, including:
• Building and managing customer relationships.
• Utilizing highly developed communication and negotiation skills, including both excellent verbal
skills and the ability to develop and deliver Executive level summaries, reports, and
presentations.
• Developing timely and accurate sales reports.
• Utilizing computers to conduct business on a daily basis.
• Consistent achievement of sales quotas.
• Working independently with minimal oversight.
• Working in a team environment with shared sales goals.

Preferred Requirements:
Masters degree in Business Administration and 15 years of fortune 500 enterprise software sales experience, including:
• Tax software sales.
• Selling to professionals, director level and above.
• Selling a complex product requiring in-depth knowledge of the client's business and the products
functionality.
• Global, multi-currency, selling.
• Demonstrated ability to learn a complex product line quickly through self-initiative and discipline.
• Developing accurate sales forecasts.
• Experience with SAP and/or Oracle.
• CRM proficiency.
• Earning majority of total compensation in commissions.
