The Role: Logistics Coordinator
The Location: Midland, TX

Due to our continued growth, we are currently in need of a Logistics Coordinator.
The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for processing all sales orders as well as scheduling/coordinating all inbound and outbound shipments. Duties will include: processing sales orders, compiling all documentation for freight and ground shipments, tracking shipments to ensure timely deliveries, evaluating carriers' performances based on service, quality, and cost, ensuring competitive pricing, developing reports to calculate cost evaluations, managing claims/damages and communicating with multiple departments and organizations. The Logistics Coordinator will be a self-starter who takes pride in their work, is organized, attentive to detail and works hard to uphold quality while managing costs.
Your Required Skills & Experience:
•You have a bachelor's degree in an applicable field; will consider high school diploma for person with excellent experience
•You have five or more years experience as a Logistics Coordinator/Specialist, Warehouse Coordinator/Specialist or Shipping Coordinator/Specialist
•Your experience includes processing inbound and outbound shipments; measurement and analysis of logistics performance; and working with multiple departments/teams/suppliers and vendors
•You possess strong knowledge of Excel, Outlook and Word
•You can type and use a 10 key pad quickly and accurately
•You are a go-getter and are not afraid to jump in and learn something new
•You are extremely detail-oriented, organized, accurate and efficient
•You are oriented towards process improvement initiatives and will proactively seek out and prevent potential problems with useful solutions
•You are adaptable and function with ease in a dynamic and constantly changing environment
•You are a team player!
