Oracle DBA

Foster City,CA

$40/hr

Expereince Required:3-5years

• Installation, configuration and upgrading of Oracle server software and related products

• Establish and maintain backup/recovery policies and procedures

• Implement and maintain database security

• DB tuning and performance monitoring

• Disk layout and Disk capacity planning

• Monitoring and maintenance of databases

• Install, configure and setup Database and Real Application Cluster.

• Build Data Warehouse and Reporting system

• Oracle web server admin

• Scheduling/monitoring daily, weekly events/reports

• Log file monitoring 

• Oracle application migrations

• Multi tier Oracle applications 

• A good understanding of PL/SQL, Triggers, etc

• A good knowledge of Oracle security management

• Code migration, DB change management & data management

• Develop and Build Data Warehouse and reporting system.

• Experience with Oracle 9i, 9i RAC and 9i partitioning 

• Shell scripting

•  Experience with MySQL
