Role: Channel Training Program Manager
Location: SF Bay Area
Time Commitment: August 1, 2012- October 31, 2012, (up to 15 hours/week)
Channel Impact is seeking an experienced channel training program manager to help our client execute their partner training strategy.
This is a W2 opportunity with Channel Impact.
Position Overview:
• Interact with product marketing to receive product training presentations
• Review and modify the content as needed to ensure it is appropriate for the channel
• Manage content approval cycles
• Review scripts from the LMS vendor to ensure channel fit and business value proposition
• Once the content is finalized and fully approved, interface with the Learning Management System (LMS) vendor to create the module and upload in to the LMS
• Lead internal and external communications to generate awareness for the new offering
• Work with translation vendor to localize training for key languages
Requirements:
• 5+ years of channel training experience
• 5+ years of channel experience
• Past experience in the networking industry
• Proven project management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills; presentation, customer service, business, and negotiation skills.
• Strong teaming and collaboration skills.
• High energy with the capability to multi-task in a dynamic, rapidly growing organization.
• Ability to prioritize and manage to deadlines.
