As part of Crimson's Channels and Partners Services, Consultant needed for an interim role as a Business Development Lead for a major global technology manufacturer. This role will accelerate the development and execution of sales pipeline across target customer accounts in the AC drives industry. Our client is seeking accelerated growth in this market – AC drives (also known as Electric Motor Drives, VFDs, or Variable Frequency Drives) - to serve a new segment of customers with its technology service capabilities.
Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
•Execute sales and marketing activities to support initial introductions and engagement with target customers
•Leverage existing network and relationships within the industry to identify and secure business development meetings with qualified contacts
•Participate in initial meetings with client experts to gather market information and communicate capabilities as required
MUST HAVE:
•10+ years of executive experience in Business Development or sales role selling manufactured components (IGBTs/power modules or other drive components, motors, drives) and/or related integration services
•High level relationships with C-level executives and/or divisional/subsidiary managers with P&L responsibility in AC Drives or similar / adjacent spaces
•Strong track record in driving accelerated growth
STRONGLY PREFER:
•5-10 year experience in business development or sales within the AC drives, VFD, Electric Motor Drives industry (manufacturing or integration services)
•Experience successfully engaging customers and developing new business within large organizations
Location: Remote, off-site flexibility (some travel may be required)
Duration: 2-3 months, (part-time, 2-3 days/week)
