Employment Description:
1. Develop and implement a comprehensive internal and external plan to support the marketing, adoption and roll out of the based camera products at major OEM customers in the USA
2. Research and evaluate potential acquisition targets that expand the technology, features and functions of the company product offering.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Development
1. Develop and nurture relationships directly with large USA OEM’s that are developing based camera products.
2. Support the customer in developing the end product specifications during the initial product concept phase
3. Provide assistance to customers in finding and evaluating potential manufacturing partners.
4. Act as a liaison between the customer and the various functions within the company to insure the smooth and timely execution of the development and manufacture of the end product.
5. Investigate new opportunities at current customers and promote solution
6. Promote the solution to potential new USA OEMs across the various markets.
7. Provide formal market feedback to the company on customer technical product requirements to support the feature and function specifications of new SoC development.
8. Monitor external and internal environment for development of new market segments.
9. Furnish marketing advice, counsel and general staff support to all departments within the company.
10. Assist in or produce feasibility studies/business plans for new product development.
Mergers & Acquisitions
1. Identify potential congruent companies for acquisition based on overall corporate objectives
2. Analyze potential M&A opportunities for financial and business drivers, trends and metrics, and strategic options to address existing product/ service gaps, increase market share.
3. Execute sophisticated quantitative analyses and advanced modeling that translates data into actionable insights. Communicate findings to senior leadership identifying key takeaways
4. Ensure strong linkages between Business Development/M&A and strategy, and provide post-deal integration support
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education: Must possess a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related technical field. (Master's degree preferred).
Training and Experience: Highly developed organizational, planning and management writing skills, oral communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others. Ability to understand and communicate technical requirements of the customers.
Job Knowledge: Understanding and Setting of Goals. Realistic scheduling and observance of deadlines. Knowledge and understanding of the constituencies and knowledge of the service area. Integrity, 7-10 years of BD/M&A experience. Ability to establish clear linkages between BD/M&A opportunities and overall corporate strategy. Demonstrated ability to define portfolio of BD/M&A opportunities. Ability to make informed deal pursuit recommendations based on strategy and opportunity. Strong strategic and financial diligence and negotiation experience.
Other Requirements:
1. Ability to travel independently within the company and in the community to attend various meetings with other departmental personnel and public.
2. Ability to converse verbally and in writing with others regarding company services with vendors, co-workers and employees.
3. Ability to work under stress, interruptions and tight deadlines.
4. Independent judgment to determine project guidelines, purpose, follow-through and completion.
5. Ability to understand financial reports including budgetary guidelines and project expenditures.
