Email Marketing Manager
Concord, CA
6+ Month Contract
The email manager is an important member of the channel marketing team for our client a leader in investment solutions. The individual will manage the day-to-day operation of a complex and active email channel. As email is the primary method our client uses to communicate with their customers, the optimization and effectiveness of all things email is critical.
Primary responsibilities include:
• Management of all outbound email communications including campaign emails, newsletters, event and webinar invitations and corporate initiative announcements.
o Scheduling
o Publishing
o Testing and deployment
• Optimization of communications across client segments and subscription preferences according to data and best practices.
• Point person for marketing team members to seek guidance and best practices on email campaign strategy and set up.
Basic Requirements
• 2-5 years in email marketing, email management roles
• Proven expertise of email marketing best practices and implementation for impact and results across lead generation campaigns, client engagement communications including newsletters, etc.
• Solid project management skills to support email production for 10 project managers and various departments
• Ability to partner with design team to ensure digital assets are optimized for email campaign deployments.
• Strong verbal and written communications
Technical Requirements
• Eloqua Power user (Eloqua 10 preferred) with skills to include: HTML email creation, campaign build, multi-location events, dynamic content, program builder, segmentation, forms and landing pages, and reporting
• Experience with Exact Target a plus
• Solid Dreamweaver experience
• Good SFDC knowledge
• Strong Excel skills
