Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a full time Marketing Specialist consultant to report to the head of marketing and product management for our client located in Redwood City, CA. The Marketing Specialist will have strong project management skills and will be responsible for tracking and managing the overall marketing campaigns and campaigns calendar in addition to tracking to product line budgets. The ideal consultant for this role is a dependable and experienced marketing professional with strong operations leanings and excellent attention to detail. Seeking a results-oriented team player with positive energy and a can do attitude.
Specific responsibilities:
Create, manage and track the overall marketing campaign calendar
Create, run and analyze social media presence for the company including: LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Google+, YouTube, etc.
Compose, edit and send quarterly newsletter to customer database
Support Program Managers with email marketing campaigns using Marketo
Support lead and contact management in Marketo and SalesForce.com
Run online advertising through Google AdWords and third party vendors
Open, track and manage the purchasing process
Manage expenses against budget
Skills:
3-5 years of recent b2b marketing specialist/marketing operations experience required. Prior experience in software, life sciences (biotechnology, bioinformatics) strongly preferred but not required
Outstanding project management skills with excellent attention to detail
Experience tracking and managing marketing expenses against allocated budgets
Demonstrated experience running social media campaigns
Experience utilizing Google AdWords
Proficiency with Marketo (or similar marketing automation tool) and SalesForce
Bachelor's degree required
RATE: D.O.E., as W-2 employee of Crawford Group
LOCATION: Onsite at client's office in Redwood City, CA. Local, S.F. Bay Area candidates only, please. No phone calls.
