Position Overview: Channel Impact is seeking a Business Development Manager. You will be working closely with our VP of staffing and recruiting team to develop our staffing solution and increase our client base.
This is a W2 opportunity with Channel Impact.

Responsibilities Include:
• PROSPECTS
o Markets by telephone to gather information and set appointments
o Presents services to companies during appointments
o Presents written proposals as appropriate
o Evaluates prospective company's needs, environment, personality, etc.
o Utilizes all marketing programs including Core, Target and 30-Day
o Conducts research calls around appointments as appropriate
o Participates in professional and business organizations
o Documents all calls and appointments in computer system

• CLIENTS
o Responsible for developing, maintaining and servicing of all clients obtained or
assigned.
o Takes job orders with recruiter or introduce recruiter on every order
o Handles problems quickly and professionally
o Develops strong client relationships
o Continues to evaluate needs of all clients to assist inside staff in making the best
o match possible
o Meet daily client servicing goals

• CANDIDATES
o Visit or call candidates at the end of the first day and end of first week on assignment or placement.
o Develops candidate as well as client relationships
o Assists in the selection of candidates for a position when necessary

• PROMOTIONS
o Utilizes Channel Impact promotional materials, specialty items and programs
as directed

• Business Development Managers following responsibilities:

- Increase customer share at 10 to 20 specific core clients
- Secure exclusive relationships with decision makers at core companies
- Identify and present bids, contracts and proposals
- Follow up on leads and new clients to establish level of accounts, sales plan
- Maintain a thorough business awareness of client's industry trends, competitor positions, and the growth of plans for the future
- Understand and stay current with staffing industry trends and competitor trends
- Hire, train and develop Account Representatives
- Increase gross profits each month the first year. Set GM profit goals for year two
- Increase clients serviced by 3 clients per month

Skill Sets and Experience:
• Business Development experience required
• Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills.
• Strong presentation and client relationship skills.
• Ability to work as a collaborative team member
• Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment
• Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.
• Knowledge of SFDC preferred
