HR Generalist Position with ROD Services - Kennesaw Georgia(Northwest Atlanta)

 

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for the execution of administrative processes and provides support to the HR Business Partner. This person will assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

 

• Work closely with the HR Business Partner to implement HR strategy in alignment with the organization’s business strategy to achieve success

• Lead and champion management development programs ensuring continued success as the company grows leadership talent.

• Handles employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviews

• Support and facilitate effective recruitment and retention strategies.

• Review and analyze employee trends (e.g., employee retention) and work with managers and HR team to ensure effective utilization of talent

• Accurately enter and audit new hire, employee changes and termination information in HR systems

• Process new hire paperwork and set up personnel files.

• Conduct new hire orientation and policy training.

• Ensure human resource compliance by creating and maintaining employee records for assigned client groups.

• Identify, collect, analyze and summarize data for reports and presentations.

• Gather data and generates employee and managerial reports.

• Create and maintain reports, reporting tools and templates, maintaining security and confidentiality.

• Support and coordinate the administration of HR processes and programs (e.g. performance management, salary planning, employee survey, Talent Review, etc.)

• Assist managers and employees with human resource policies, programs and procedures.

• Facilitate and/ or provide resolution for HR inquires by acting as the direct customer interface, answering and escalating questions or requests.

• Track status updates on projects, update project scorecards, monitor HR processes and identify improvement opportunities.

• Create presentations for meetings, coordinate job evaluation process.

• Partner with other groups with HR (such as compensation and benefits) to resolve questions.

• Coordinate and administer termination process (exit interviews, processing paperwork, etc.).

• Perform other duties or support projects and/or initiatives as assigned.

• Assist in managing a company-wide performance management process

• Stay abreast of organizational development and change management practice as well as information on future trends and forces

• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times

• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned

• Review and analyze employee trends (e.g. employee retention) and work with managers and HR team to ensure effective utilization of talent

Skill set Minimum Qualifications

 

• Bachelor’s Degree in HR or Business Management preferred.

• Three years’ experience administrative experience in a fast paced environment.

• Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Visio and Access) required. Experience with HRIS systems highly preferred.

• Excellent communications (verbal and written) required.

• Strong interpersonal, customer service and listening skills.

• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and perform assignments with minimal supervisor.

• Exceptional organization skills.

Work experience 3 - 7 years
