POSITION – Competitive Analyst
LOCATION – San Jose, CA
DURATION – 6 months +

JOB DESCRIPTION
As a senior member of a Marketing team, you have an exciting opportunity to work with experienced subject matter experts across a broad range of analytical fields. Your role will primarily be focused on the Data Center where you will leverage your deep business strategy, technical competency and financial skill set to aid with directing the build of competitive and market strategies that help guide and influence the marketing, engineering and sales leadership.
This role provides the flexibility to work across a diverse field and create the opportunity to articulate clearly the competitive pressures and market opportunities that our client needs to embrace.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Leveraging your strong education in financial, business and technical strategies to help evaluate both internal and external data sources (technology, vertical and market segment size)
• Help identify key competitors and examine these companies' current position in the market to provide business analysis that highlights potential growth areas whilst recognizing market transitions
• Partner with corporate marketing to leverage Competitive Market Intelligence to help build marketing and sales strategies
• Prepare and present/discuss competitive analysis with marketing, sales and engineering teams
• Work closely with Global Marketing, Corporate Communications and Engineering on strategic enablement initiatives
REQUIREMENTS
• 8 years' experience in either a business / technical role or analyzing competitive and market information
• MBA, financial experience, business knowledge and Technical background are mandatory
• Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills are required
