PR Manager

We�re looking for someone who wants to get onboard and help us grow even faster. Our PR team is looking for an exceptional writer with a solid understanding of PR/Communications strategy as well as expertise in social media. The person will be responsible for:
•Working closely with our Director of Corporate Communications to generate compelling content, highlighting customer delight and thought leadership
•Experienced, polished writer, capturing Marketo's voice and producing high quality press releases and by-line articles consistent with company messaging and editorial guidelines.
•Managing an active press release calendar and pipeline.
•Working closely with marketing, product development and engineering team on key strategic initiatives.
•Assisting with company representation on other social media outlets.
Required Skills/ Experience
•Bachelor�s Degree in Communications or a related field.
•Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant high technology PR and writing experience, preferably in B2B software with a mix of agency and corporate work experience.
•Excellent communication skills, oral and written, with a high level of attention to detail. Written samples are required.
•Active social media presence
•Ability to make decisions and work independently; prioritize multiple projects and demands; and work under tight deadlines with grace.
•Proven success in producing results in a team-oriented environment.
•Strong interpersonal skills, ability to develop relationships and communicate with all levels of management
•Must be detail oriented
