Job Description:
Lendmark Financial Services is a consumer finance company that specializes in providing direct and indirect personal loans, automobile loans, debt consolidation loans, and merchant retail sales financing services. Lendmark operates over 100 branch locations throughout Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia, Maryland, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Delaware.
Job Summary:
Responsible for controlling 90+ delinquent accounts by utilizing effective collection arrangements including loss mitigation efforts in a centralized environment on existing consumer loan clients.
Competencies:
1. Contact loan customers for past due payments and update progress on the account. Update account information as needed. Assist customers with implementation of solutions to ensure timely payments, including setting up permanent corrective arrangements. (90%)
2. All other duties as assigned (10%)
Minimal Qualifications:
1. High School diploma or comparable education and experience required
2. 3+ years experience in consumer finance and/or collection experience
3. Effective communication and telephone skills
4. Ability to work with minimum supervision
5. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel and Word Applications
6. Some college preferred
7. Bilingual Spanish/English, preferred
