Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is looking for an Account Manager, Integrated Campaigns for an 18-week account management role at 20 hours a week with the flexibility to potentially ramp in hours up to 40 over the course of 2015. This consulting role's outlook for 2016 would evolve into a full time assignment. The Account Manager (AM) serves as the primary business contact for the client and is responsible for client satisfaction and consulting on the two demand campaigns for 2015. The AM is expected to consistently provide best-in-class customer service as well as provide consultative marketing support to help client reach their business objectives. The AM will direct internal teams at the agency by representing client needs and goals to ensure campaign success.

The ideal consultant has a strong demand generation base knowledge and best practices for B2C organizations. Seeking an experienced account manager, capable of bringing people together to share ideas, encourage participation and a foster a sense of commitment to quality output. Must remain cool under pressure in the delivery of multiple priorities with tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

Act as the main interface with the client and will manage the direct marketing agency, creative and production teams, creative review and approval cycle management with client stakeholders, brand teams and legal teams

Align key messages between campaigns and track all customer call-to-action expectations to deliver the desired customer journey through email, direct mail and telemarketing efforts

Oversee team that manages the timelines and work-back schedule with the client, ensuring list management, production teams and campaign delivery are running on time and within budget

Provide a consistent communication cadence with the client regarding all aspects of the program

Support the collection and delivery of metrics and backend reporting for each campaign and marketing piece, as required to deliver recommendations for refinement to decision makers

Responsible for all client communication, conflict resolution, and deliverable tracking

Provides regular two-way communication between the client and the project management team, to provide strong team representation and set proper client expectations

Ensures that client issues are dealt with in an efficient manner

Communicates the client's goals and represent the client's interests to the project team managers when necessary and provides creative brief, reviews copy and creative and provides guidance to the both the client ant the project team

Work with internal teams to identify new consultant resources. Mentor resources to get them up to speed and delivering results quickly.

Manages team in order to maintain a continuous knowledge of project status in order to identify potential issues and/or opportunities within or related to the projects.

Ensures that all processes and procedures are completed, quality standards are met, and that projects are profitable.

Skills:

7+ years' B2C direct marketing/demand generation campaign management experience , preferably targeting small/medium (SMB) business customers. Experience testing and optimizing content and offers.

Minimum 3 years proven account management skills required in order to create, maintain and enhance customer relationships. Must be able to quickly understand the client, their products and their industry.

Agency experience strongly preferred

Strategic planner who can shepherd multiple variables to completion for a holistic campaign delivery and positive customer experience

Solid collaborator who stays aligned to the business goals while seeking input from various members of the team to ensure optimal contribution from all areas of expertise

Effective communicator who can diplomatically highlight risks and gaps to the team when deadlines are in danger of not being met

Good listener and problem solver with an optimistic attitude; when challenges are brought to the table, you rise to the occasion with ideas to minimize campaign risk

Excellent program management skills with the ability to get things done quickly and smoothly

Previous experience working with Creative Directors, list management teams, and agency teams from different companies all contributing to the same campaign with multiple programs

Experience working with marketing brand guidelines and templates when developing a new campaign for a large enterprise company

Prior experience conducting weekly status meetings to maintain open communication and alignment within the campaign teams and clients

Exceptional organizational and communication skills, verbal and written

Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and hands on working experience with marketing automation tools (Marketo, Eloqua, Pardot, Hubspot) required (Marketo strongly preferred)

Working knowledge of Base Camp a plus

Bachelor's degree

RATE: D.O.E., as an independent 1099 consultant or W2 hourly working on behalf of Crawford Group

LOCATION: During the initial relationship building phase: Up to 4 hours daily at clients' office in San Ramon, CA, with flexibility to evolve to primarily offsite, virtual, remote/telecommute/WFH. Also requires 1-2 days onsite per month at clients' office in San Francisco, CA. No phone calls, please.

HOURS/DURATION: Part time consulting project, 20 hours per week during standard business hours, usually starting at 9:00am PST. ASAP – 18 weeks with possibility of full time in 2016.
