Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is sourcing for a full time/permanent Senior Customer Marketing Program Manager to join our marketing automation technology client. The Sr. Customer Marketing Program Manager is responsible for building and developing strategic customer advocacy relationships and content in support of new business and customer retention and growth.This position reports to the Director of Customer Marketing.
The Senior Customer Marketing Program Manager needs to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing, and very exciting environment. Seeking someone who is accountable to his/her performance and results and is committed to delivering the best will excel. The ideal candidate for this position is self-motivated, always looking for ways to take programs to the next level, and a strong team player who takes great pride in the quality, precision, and measurable results of his/her work. Customer – facing writing and/or video production samples of your work are required for consideration.
Key Objectives:
Expansion of our clients' customer advocate community including development of highly engaged, mutually-beneficial reference relationships
Strategic focus on engaging senior customer executives in mutually beneficial market activity and speaking opportunities
Consistent development of high-quality customer assets, customer reference materials, stories and sales tools including case studies, videos and presentations that effectively support sales and marketing objectives
Strategic marketing support working with Product Marketing, Corporate Communications, and Demand Generation to plan, prioritize, and successfully engage customers in marketing campaigns and events
Development of highly productive working relationships with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success
Responsibilities:
Evangelize Customer Marketing to customers and internal stakeholders
Grow and nurture the pool of advocate customers including: Identifying and on-boarding new advocates, C-level customer engagement, long-term relationship development, recognition and rewards
Interview customers to learn their stories and interests and then successfully match them to marketing opportunities and assets to be created
Manage creation of customer assets and evidence to support the sales cycle including: case studies, videos, web content, slides, data about customers, quotes and other sales tools
Work closely with Product Marketing, Corporate Communications, and Demand Generation to plan, prioritize customers participating in campaigns, speaking opportunities, press releases, media and analyst interviews
Manage customer experience and communications through content and campaign development
Skills:
7+ years' overall marketing programs management experience, preferably B2C
Must have 4+ years' external customer-facing marketing experience, and demonstrate success in developing mutually beneficial relationships with customers
Successful experience working with customers, including senior executives to engage them in marketing and speaking opportunities, work with them to develop content, interact with them onsite at events and interview them for asset development
Successful track record managing marketing campaigns and delivering marketing assets including case studies, videos and sales enablement tools
Experience translating technical information into meaningful business benefits and impact
Strong program management skills with focus on delivering results
Excellent writing and communication skills
Must have the polish to diplomatically influence and communicate with all levels within an organization including senior executives
Relationship builder, able to build consensus with cross-functional stakeholder communications and engagement
Flexible, can-do attitude, with the ability to thrive in highly dynamic environment
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
BA/BS in Business, Marketing, or equivalent; MBA a plus
Salary: Full time/permanent/salaried employee of client. Competitive total compensation package D.O.E., w2, including annual bonus, stock options and comprehensive benefits
Location: This position is fully onsite at clients' office in San Mateo, CA. No phone calls, please.
