Position: Customer Success Manager/Partner Manager

Location: Mountain View/Palo Alto California

Position description:

The Customer Success Manager/Partner Manager is a role critical to the success of the company's SAAS business model. As the Customer Success Manager/Partner Manager you will be a key contributor on a high performing team that consistently delivers market leading retention rates. You will be responsible for collaborating with the channels and sales teams to drive retention and expanded adoption of joint company customers, and to further develop the company's relationship with a specific software vendor. This role requires a combination of experience in channels and partner relationships; strong business acumen, and sales experience. This role relies heavily on personal accountability for results and a willingness to go the extra mile for joint customers.

Position responsibilities:

•Collaborate with the channels team to understand the business relationship between the company and partner

•Work within the parameters of the contractual relationship to ensure the satisfaction and success of a named list of accounts, primarily SMB customers

•Develop and maintain long-term relationships with stakeholders by networking between the partner, customers, and the company team

•Ensure that the sales and renewals team has access to and understanding of all of the resources available to the sales team to keep and grow customers

•Collaborate with the partner sales teams to ensure growth attainment and increased footprint

•Serve as an escalation point for issues that impact the customer's success

•Occasionally travel(5-10%) within North America to partner and event locations

Required experience and skills:

•3-5 years in high tech cloud SAAS software industry

•Experience working in sales, customer success, or channels/partnership relationship building

•Understanding of how software technology is used to solve business problems

•Excellent presentation and communications skills; ability to assimilate complex concepts and clearly articulate business value

•General knowledge of training vendors/partners in the industry

•Competency in financial industry is a plus

•BA/BS degree
