NetSpend Corporation is a leading provider of prepaid debit cards in the U.S. Prepaid debit cards are experiencing dramatic growth in consumer adoption. The company's prepaid debit cards enable anyone to make purchases, pay bills, secure reservations, and shop online without needing a traditional bank account or access to a credit card. 

NetSpend Direct is an entrepreneurial business unit within NetSpend, with responsibility for growing the company's online and direct-to-consumer business line including all facets of customer acquisition and retention, servicing customers through web and mobile platforms, and strategic partnerships. 

We're looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to develop and implement initiatives that positively impact key division metrics including activation and funding rates, direct deposit penetration, and attrition. You'll execute campaigns that contribute to increased cardholder engagement and lifetime value, working across multiple marketing channels and supporting multiple card brands. You'll deliver loyalty, retention, and feature-based campaigns working with cross-functional internal teams and external vendors. 

The position will report to the Director of Lifecycle Marketing and is based in San Mateo, CA. There will be occasional travel to NetSpend's headquarters in Austin, Texas.

Responsibilities:

Manage lifecycle marketing campaigns from concept through implementation, working directly with key stakeholders to develop business requirements, key objectives, customer communications, and measure campaign results.

Synthesize and interpret customer, campaign and research data into tangible, action-oriented strategies to increase cardholder engagement, retention, and LTV.

Deliver measurable, effective multi-channel marketing campaigns across web, email, SMS, IVR, in-app messaging, direct mail, and social media channels.

Work with marketing analytics team to design tests and campaigns that have measurable results; implement a continuous cycle of testing and learning.

Create and execute retention marketing treatments for high value and high potential value segments that drive KPI improvements.

Deliver projects on time, on budget and meeting revenue goals. Manage costs and resources appropriately.

Provide direction to internal and external creative resources to develop new, multi-channel, marketing materials.

Collaborate with marketing managers across the enterprise to regularly share insights, develop ideas, and scale new programs.

Identify areas of process improvement and team with support areas to affect positive change management.



Skills/Education/Experience:

5-7 years experience in loyalty and retention marketing or BtoC direct marketing, with a track record of proven success in revenue generation through marketing efforts. Experience in Financial Services vertical a plus.

Experience developing, executing and measuring multi-channel integrated marketing campaigns with an emphasis on email and mobile channels.

Previous experience with marketing automation/campaign management systems a plus.

Experience using campaign results to determine the effectiveness of marketing efforts, summarize analysis for discussions with senior management, set priorities, and initiate new campaigns.

Creative and innovative thought leader who is not afraid to take risks.

Excellent written, presentation, interpersonal, and people influencing skills.

Strong work ethic, highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.

Experience collaborating across organizations, working with key support areas to effectively execute campaigns including technology, operations, and creative partners.

Bachelor's Degree, MBA a plus
