As a Director of Sales, your goals will be to identify and develop new opportunities for Chelsio products and explain product advantages and value propositions. The Director will drive account sales activities by interfacing business decision makers, executives and procurement management: convert designs activities to committed programs and business, and expand Chelsio business partnership with customers.
Our Director of Sales will work closely with Chelsio VP of Sales, System Engineers and FAE's supporting customers Storage and Networking connectivity requirements and position to win Chelsio's Hardware and Software solutions.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Converged Ethernet connectivity solution selling into Storage and Servers OEMs/ODMs, Big Data/Hyperscale Appliances, Systems integrators and Cloud Datacenters.
Required skills and experience
• BS/BA (technical degree preferred) 5+ years of experience in Ethernet and Fibre Channel Network adapters sales with a track record of developing new business
• An understanding of Storage and Computer networking infrastructure, Software Defined Storage networking market trends and business and technology challenges
• Strong selling and closing skills with a proven track record of exceeding goals
• Excellent "qualifying" and prioritizing skills and the ability to multi-task and execute on multiple opportunities
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Energetic personality who enjoys working in a highly dynamic and competitive work environment
