Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking an Integrated Marketing Communications Manager with solid, recent experience in creating marketing, promotional, and sponsorship event experience strategies for large scale conference and various size event programs. This role will partner with our clients to define overall communication program objectives, revenue budget models, pricing and promotional strategies, sponsorship programs and opportunities, audience acquisition and communication strategies and programs. The Manager will also implement and deliver against the strategies and tactics pre-defined for the program.
The ideal candidate is a strong marketing communications professional, with events knowledge and background, accustomed to working in a fast paced, results-oriented, customer-centric environment. Must be resourceful, enthusiastic, high energy and creative with a demonstrated ability to drive measurable results.
Responsibilities:
Ensure business objectives are delivered against plan
Work within a defined consistent process, framework and training for event marketing engagement
Analyze programs for effectiveness
Define key program stakeholders, create functional teams, manage expectations to timeline and budgets
Collaborate with internal client stakeholders, deliver event marketing strategy and planning, ensuring alignment with corporate and brand objectives
Execute to program success metrics and provide tracking mechanisms, analysis and course corrections throughout programs
Deliver target audience research, analysis, definition by segmentation, audience acquisition strategy development and implementation to goals
Full program development and management may include:
Event theme and messaging consulting
Identifying and collaborating with other communication core team members
Event marketing campaign development, spanning online/social media, and traditional Web-based registration, Speaker Portals, Sponsor Portals, Microsites and Social Media
Audience Acquisition(Demand Generation for events or conference
Oversee and maintain communication master timeline and marcom deliverables production schedules
Master of onsite communications implementation including signage, printed materials and promo items
Documenting and presenting post-event metrics around communications program
Skills:
4 to 7 years' experience managing integrated marketing/communications programs, including setting communications program strategies. Must include recent experience working for at least one technology company. Agency experience a strong plus.
Strong communications skills: verbal/public speaking, written, presentations
Strategic, creative and business minded while ensuring strong delivery/execution results
Strong project management capabilities.
Must have the ability to juggle multiple, concurrent demanding initiatives and projects
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
Bachelors' degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or similar
RATE: $50.00 Pr/Hr, as W-2 employee of Crawford Group (benefits available)
LOCATION: Onsite at client's office in San Mateo, CA. No phone calls.
HOURS/DURATION: Full time, October 19-December 31, 2015.
