Shutterfly is seeking an SEO Contractor to assist in multiple projects across the Internet Marketing department, but mainly focused on Natural/Organic Search and Search Engine Optimization (SEO). This position will work alongside our Internet Marketing and SEO team to improve natural search rankings through internet marketing, link discovery and development, and social media.
Qualifications & Characteristics:
Ø Preferred experience in marketing or business
Ø Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
Ø An understanding of SEO and how search engines work
Ø Comfortable navigating the web and efficiently conducting research online
Ø Knowledge of online marketing and passion for social media
Ø Proven ability to work independently, handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Ø Outstanding written communication, strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ø Have a positive attitude
Ø Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced work environment
Ø Familiarity with HTML
Ø Prior experience at a start-up or e-commerce company is a plus
Compensation: This is a temporary position and will be paid at an hourly rate.
