Lakeview Speciality Hospital and Rehab is currently searching for an EMR Project Manager & Systems Administrator to plan, manage and coordinate project activities to ensure goals and objectives of EMR implementation are accomplished on-time and within budget.
What Will I Be Doing?
The EMR Project Manager & Systems Administrator is ultimately responsible for the successful timely launch and roll-out of the hospital's EMR system and its multiple modules. This includes overseeing and managing the consultants and other IT employees to make a thorough system design and functional requirements definition; guided application development and testing; user acceptance testing for each system "process", and on-going system monitoring and assessment. The EMR Project Manager & Systems Administrator will also be responsible for the hospital's support of all computer hardware and software and local network management.
Your Required Skills & Experience:
You have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
You have seven or more years of related experience in a healthcare setting including at least two years of direct experience working with an EMR system during an implementation OR as an EMR systems administrator
You have at least four years of demonstrated experience managing large-scale projects on-time and within budgetary constraints
You have four or more years of experience interfacing with high-level executives as well as physicians, clinicians and vendors
You have the ability to lead and mentor a team of employees and consultants
You possess the knowledge and skill level necessary to become a subject matter expert and earn the trust and respect of the hospital staff including high level executives and physicians
You have an approachable and congenial personality and enjoy working well with others
You are willing to "roll up your sleeves" to ensure achievement of project goals and objectives
