Senior Marketing Manager, Article One Partners, LLC
Reports To: Vice President, Marketing
Position Summary:
To drive, manage, and implement cross-functional marketing programs to customers, prospects, and partners, in direct support of company sales/revenue goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive and execute conference/event presence, including messaging. Identify and leverage marketing opportunities associated with each event.
- Manage lead generation in support of sales
- Own and drive components of sales tools as needed
- Drive strategy and develop content for website, to be used as foundation messaging for other marketing materials
- Coordinate an effective and integrated social media program.
- Define program metrics and report regularly
- Other duties may be assigned
Scope:
- Drive/coordinate with multiple internal departments, including sales, product management, design, and executives
- Identify and drive external marketing agencies
Competency:
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
- Strong communication and presentation skills – speaks clearly and persuasively. Writes clearly and succinctly.
- Adaptability – manages competing demands; changes approach or method to best fit the situation; able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
- Innovation – meets challenges with resourcefulness; develops innovative approaches and ideas.
- Cross-Functional – strong cross-functional marketing background for high-tech or IP start-ups a plus
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with 5 – 10 years minimum working on cross-functional marketing teams
- Emphasis on direct, search, product launch campaigns
- Ability to create programs from scratch, to come up with new approaches, to clearly articulate and sell those new ideas to key stakeholders
- Strong copywriting ability; experience producing marketing communications a plus
- Organized, efficient, able to prioritize in support of company goals and what will have the biggest impact on meeting those goals
- Metric driven; able to define quality program metrics and ensure accuracy and timeliness of reporting.
- Strong communication skills, for dealing with all levels of the company as well as external agencies and organizations.
- Ability to work well in a fast paced, evolving environment

Preference for San Francisco, California area
