PRODUCT MARKETING MANAGER AT CISCO
We are looking for a PRODUCT MARKETING MANAGER who has a very strong background in software product marketing with excellent skills in messaging and positioning products. It is crucial that this person have the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits, along with attention to detail and an eye for quality. The position entails working with Product Management, field sales organizations and other stakeholders to create positioning documents and sales tools to accelerate adoption of new service products being introduced to the enterprise markets.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Cisco products in the market and highlights the value to customers.
Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of the products.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have 5+ years of software product marketing experience with software and/or service products for enterprise markets.
Previous Cisco experience highly preferred.
Very strong written communication skills.
Ability to collect requirements, size effort and deliver on schedule.
Excellent people and management skills to interact with colleagues, peers in cross-functional teams, and third parties.
Location: San Jose, California
Availability: Immediate
Duration: Open Ended Contract
