Job Description:
- Develop and deploy internet and portal solutions including enterprise application integration using a .Net based architecture and SharePoint object model.
- Work with end users to formulate and define application scope and functional objectives.
- Keep technical, communications, and business skills current with an emphasis on understanding emerging Microsoft-based development technologies and their impact on business.
- Plan, schedule, and conduct system tests; monitor test results; and take required corrective action.
- Design and configuration of meta data and taxonomy.
- Some system administrator's tasks to install and set up load balancing environment with Windows Server, IIS, and SQL Server".
Required Skills:
- 3 years of large scale web based application development and migration experience.
- Experience in full software development lifecycle, from initial design to product completion.
- Expertise in SharePoint required.
- BI Dashboard experience with Silverlight preferred.
- Implemented multiple enterprise class applications and solved scalability, concurrency and availability challenges.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft.Net framework and SQL server.
- Hands on coding skills on ASP.NET, VB.Net, XML, C# and SQL Server.
- Team player - willing to take on tasks that are outside of normal work scope.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
