Client : Leading Pharmaceutical client

Duration : 12 months (High Possibility of extension)

Location : Waukegan, IL (60064)

Job Title : Project Manager (Level 1)

Shift : 8:30 AM - 5 PM

Job Description:

· Manages/directs the activities and people associated with small to large scale projects with a focus on any or several non-IT business applications and disciplines.

· Manage/direct all facets of single or multiple, multidimensional, mission-critical projects through the Full Project Life Cycle.

· Collaborate/work with project sponsors, business units and users to identify project scope and focus, develop or monitor project initiatives, implement project requirements/plans/processes/tools, assign/guide/monitor project staff, and assure project success.

· Deliver quality project solutions to business problems or issues within defined budgets and/or timelines.

· Provide expert project guidance/support proactively through project completion.

· Provide tracking, reporting, and presentation to management and users. 1-6 years experience

Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate/work with project sponsors to identify project scope and focus.

· Develop and manage project objectives, strategies, timelines and milestones for Engineering Standards related initiatives.

· Implement project requirements /plans /processes/ tools, and assure project success.

· Identify gaps in Department processes and manage the development and implementation of improvements utilizing Business Excellence tools.

· This person will be assisting with managing program activities to update engineering standards.

· Validation checklists, set up sharepoint website, measure KPIs.

· Needs to be computer savvy so can learn database work necessary. MS Visio and Excel will be used as well. ~5 yrs experience, project management skills, BS in Engineering or other Applied Science required.

Qualification:

· Must have a 4-yr degree in Engineering, Science or related area or possess equivalent, relevant experience.

· Six Sigma Black Belt, American Society of Quality (ASQ), or Project Management (PMP) certification is a plus.
