The Social Media Manager leads the creative development and implementation of interactive marketing and social media efforts for our company. He/she is responsible for designing impactful online, mobile, and social media content and strategies in support of segment and line of business goals. In addition to directly creating and executing interactive marketing and social media programs, the Social Media Manager will supervise a UI design and video production team, providing guidance and assistance on specific projects, as well as overall career development.
Essential Job Functions
- New content management for our website: Partner with Marketing Implementation and website Project Managers to develop new copy/creative and upload into established templates via our enterprise Content Management System.
- Social media operations management: Manage social media operations for our company including listening and posting vendors, reporting and analytics, and strategy development of social media programs for owned sites including our website, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
- Digital design and management of creative staff: Manage a team of Video Production and User Interface Designers utilizing Adobe CS5, Flash, HTML for email template development, banner ads, landing pages, video, interactive demos and tools . Partner closely with Creative Director to ensure brand standards and content are integrated across touchpoints.
Required Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, website management, interactive design or related field.
-Minimum 5 years experience designing for the digital space including expert level knowledge of CS5, strong Flash design experience, CSS and HTML
- Experience in executing social media strategies across Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn and/or mobile platforms
- Knowledge of social media vendors such as Radian6, Hootsuite
- Experience managing creative teams
- Experienced using technology for project management and efficiencies, e.g. Excel, Word, digital asset management systems, marketing resource management systems.
- Financial category experience helpful but not required
