Responsibilities:
„X Researching, interpreting, inventorying and mapping of pipeline infrastructure.
„X Cartography and map analysis and production to support pipeline services.
„X Proficiency in georeferencing.
„X Research and acquire spatial data from a variety of sources.
„X Employ a variety of spatial analysis techniques.
„X Effective communication with internal personnel and external clients on GIS needs.
„X Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at one time.
„X Database management.
Minimum Qualifications:
„X Bachelor¡¦s Degree in GIS, Geography, Natural Resources, Agriculture, Economics or equivalent job experience.
„X 2 years of focused work experience as a GIS Specialist/Analyst.
„X Familiarity with database management systems (MS Excel, MS Access, SQL Server, etc.).
„X Ability to work independently.
„X Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
„X Strong cartographic skills.
„X Detail oriented.
Desired Qualifications:
„X Utility and Energy Industry experience.
„X GISP Certification.
„X Strong proficiency with ESRI ArcGIS 10 suite of products and applications.
„X Master¡¦s Degree in GIS, Geography, Natural Resources, Agriculture, Economics or equivalent job experience.
„X Experience with Python or similar scripting languages.
„X Experience with Intrepid or similar GIS systems.
„X Experience with the design and management of web based database systems
„X Experience with web mapping services.
„X Experience in project management.
„X Background or familiarity in IT Managed Services.
„X Experience with Google Earth Pro.
„X GIS Software Administration.
