Description:

 

The Talent Agent is responsible for identifying Information Technology (IT) talent for our Client and Internal job openings. As a VisionIT Talent Agent, you will use your proven recruiting and/or technical background to identify key talent and manage the recruiting process; source candidates through existing database and contacts, advertising campaigns, and direct recruiting; manage the Internet-based recruitment process based on changing priorities and client needs; meet with candidates to evaluate their skills and understand their job preferences. Consistent participation in networking organizations and events is required. Working with a VisionIT Sales Leader, you will identify technical talent to meet client requirements and provide consistent support and direction to candidates on their position status. In addition, you will strategize with the team to accomplish your activity and hire goals. 

 

Specific responsibilities will include:

 

•Identifying qualified IT professionals for specific job openings.  This will be done through a variety of sources, including internal and internet databases, job advertisements, social media, universities, and through networking activities. 

•Conducting interviews with job candidates to determine if they have the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform well at the job. 

•Negotiating salary and billing rates with candidates and clients.

•Building relationships with clients and job candidate.

Requirements:

 

•Minimum of 1+ years recruiting and/or IT experience. 

•Previous recruiting experience in a corporate or staffing agency setting is preferred.

•Strong customer service and negotiating skills.

•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

•Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and conducting internet research.

•Bachelor’s degree is required.  A computer-related degree or CIS/MIS Degree is preferred.
