Position Summary:

We are expanding our marketing and products team due to the significant demand for our products and services by the world's leading enterprises. Our software enables organizations to transform unstructured text (think blogs) into valuable, actionable information. With Attensity solutions, organizations can utilize data and information available on the web and other organizational sources, to quickly identify important opportunities or events that until now have been impossible to detect. The company�s technology is the first to bridge the gap between human insight and advanced data analysis, enabling organizations to dramatically enhance decision-making and to listen, analyze and act on customer conversations, no matter the channel.

Attensity is looking for a Director of Marcom and Social Media; The purpose of this position is to build external and internal thought leadership through content development and interface with partners, clients and the social media community across various channels – including the website, social media (Twitter, Facebook, the Attensity Blog, etc.). Internally, this role will define and execute the outbound marketing communications and social media marketing strategy for Attensity, communicating and championing the vision internally, establishing best practices, metrics and KPIs and measuring against those KPIs.


Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Driving what we communicate to the outside world. Create and implement North American marketing communications strategies; coordinate with global team to ensure consistent messaging to the market place.
• Manage the development, distribution, and maintenance of all print and electronic collateral including, but not limited to, newsletters, data sheets, presentations, and Attensity's website.
• Creating, managing and measuring the public presence of Attensity via Attensity.com and other outbound marketing communications channels including the Blog, Sales Presentation, and Events.
• Work with Attensity's sales organization to generate and target quality leads to fill the pipeline using outbound channels.
• Interviewing stakeholders to learn about Attensity's technologies; then able to translate information to high level messaging, branding and value propositions.
• Set bold business goals and generate brand-building strategies and ideas to achieve goals.
• Ownership of North American PR and Research Analyst Relations (e.g. Gartner).
• Delivering regular updates to internal stakeholders and partners on insights gathered through regular monitoring and measurement.
• Guide creation of key metrics and perform analysis of the data for top issues, sentiment, urgent needs, and other inputs that can be useful to the company from a product development, customer service, sales and marketing standpoint.


Desired Skills/ Abilities and Requirements:
• 8 plus years of high-tech experience in a Marcom management role.
• Passion for using social engagement tools (Hootsuite).
• Strong business and marketing fundamentals.
• Problem-solving skills applicable to teams and third-party relationships.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills and presentation ability.
• Experience with website management and social media tools; curiosity and passion towards the space.
• Experience in the software industry, preferably in the analytics or content management areas.
• Ability to understand technical concepts; on a quest for new ideas and information.
• Passion for working with marketing automation software and building lead nurturing programs (Marketo, Eloqua).
• Ability to learn quickly, synthesize and teach back to the company, customers and larger social media community.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, detail orientation. Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task.

Added Plus:
• Strong personal network in the social media, enterprise and Social CRM communities. Strong personal brand preferred.


Education/ Experience Required:
• Relevant BS or BA (MBA Preferred)
