Financial Engines is seeking a highly skilled print specialist to join the Communications Support team. This position will primarily be responsible for supporting a team of client-facing Communications Managers by using an internal print configuration software tool ("Print Config") to produce communications materials for Financial Engines' product marketing campaigns and ongoing member services.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Facilitating the creation of printed dialogue communications materials.
- Data entry of client configurable content into variable fields within templates on our production system.
- Custom client edits/revisions within the variable fields in Print Config.
- Generating and distributing sample materials to the Communications Managers for client review and approval.
- Proofreading and fact checking communications materials.
- Pushing" approved versions to our production environment.
- Working with Investor Communications Marketing Managers in regards to baseline and alternate content management for variable fields and ongoing product training.
- Working with Marketing Product Manager in regards to ongoing Print Config tool development and upgrades.
- Working with internal contacts on Software Development, Product Engineering and Systems - Implementation teams to trouble shoot and diagnose occasional issues that surface, which inhibit access to the Print Config tool or prevent the generation of samples.
- Special projects as requested.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Intermediate markup language (e.g. HTML) skills.
- Experience using the following software tools and systems desired: Team Track (Serena – process management), Sponsor Configuration (internal tool), Perforce (version management), Megatron (internal tool), Tidal (job scheduling), and @Task/AtTask (project management).
- General understanding of Dialogue (HP) application desired.
- Knowledgeable in key Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Knowledgeable in Adobe Acrobat, especially editing files.
- Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented, possessing strong written and oral communication skills.
- Clear ability to show initiative, multi-task, prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
- Quick learner and self-starter with strong sense of process, ownership and involvement.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively.
- Ability to learn and leverage internal technology applications to fulfill and enhance job functions.
- Adaptable in an innovative and ever-changing environment.
- Possess a passion for quality and motivation to succeed.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
