Position Overview:
Bergerson Group is seeking a full time Field Marketing Manager to join our team in this W2 opportunity. In this role you will implement marketing plans and program that drive demand and stimulate sales for some of Client's most strategic partners, primarily in North America. Key objectives for this senior individual include developing relationships and understanding the business models of our service provider partners, establishing and managing marketing plans and budgets, promoting awareness of Client in target markets, and providing ongoing reporting and visibility to Client executives on impact of activities. Duties include ongoing field communication, supporting local end customer and partner events, influencing partner marketing activity and spend against program objectives and driving additional demand generation activities as needed working closely with sales teams, product marketing and global services.
Essential Functions:
- Develop quarterly marketing plans for identified Service Provider, Direct Marketing Resellers, and strategic 'A' partners
- Manage reporting and execution to plan on a quarterly basis
- Manage budget on target and provide regular plan / actual spend updated
- Assure 100% MDF spend by identified accounts
- Provide local support for partner and customer events as needed
- Customize Client marketing tools and develop new demand generation campaigns to support Service Providers and targeted accounts
- Coordinate corporate resources to support plan execution as required
- Create customized quarterly communications and sales tools for Service Providers and Client sales organization
- Drive marketing planning & execution – including quarterly program reviews
- Provide Channel Marketing resources for vertical team as required (e.g., Government or Business Development Teams)
- Drive attendance in executing field events such as training, demand generation events, webinars, advisory councils and summits
Requirements:
- Project management skills with demonstrated examples of end-to-end ownership and delivery of multi-faceted programs
- Demonstrated track record of delivering impactful, channel partner demand generation tools and services
- Passionate about communications and messaging – both written and spoken
- Exceptional out-of-box approach to simplifying processes to improve partner and field productivity
- Highly motivated individual with a results-driven orientation, capable of multi-tasking in a dynamic, rapidly growing organization
- Proven track record of ability to work independently as well as work collaboratively in a strong team environment
- At least six years experience with successful track record, preferably in a channel marketing or channel sales capacity
- Understanding of both domestic and international markets and channel helpful
- Successful history of driving programs with large Service Providers and large VARs helpful
- Experience in managing budgets and reporting, including Microsoft Excel
Education & Experience:
- A minimum of six years of experience is required; eight to ten years of experience is preferred
- Education: BA or BS minimum; MBA preferred
