Senior Programmer Analyst
The candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to emerging environmental policy research and program support, develop your analytical and programming skills, and be challenged by colleagues and work. Abt Associates is seeking staff who have quantitative skills, programming skills, science background, and are proven to be good writers and creative thinkers.
The ideal candidate would have a diverse knowledge base, with background in database design/analysis and computer programming, as well as experience or interest in environmental policy.
Duties may include accessing EPA regulatory databases and non-EPA databases; using statistical software and database software to analyze data and profile specific industries, facilities, and geographic regions; analyzing trends; documenting methodology; writing text reports; and generating tables, maps, and charts to convey results.
Requirements: B.S. in environmental engineering, environmental sciences, computer sciences, math or engineering. Ability to write well.
