[KITlist] CONTR: PR Manager (Downtown San Francisco, CA)

We are in the process of launching industry-changing publisher tools, such as Real Time Pricing (read interview: http://www.adoperationsonline.com/2011/08/26/interview-iggy-fanlo-adbrite-president-ceo-discusses-real-time-pricing-for-ad-exchanges/ ), and are gearing up for a big PR push. With all of this going on, and a renewed focus on our market presence, we're looking for a talented marketer to identify, develop and run point on our PR initiatives including, but not limited to, the following:

Manage the relationship with our PR firm, The Horn Group, in developing and driving marketing efforts.
Evangelize success stories through traditional (press, events) and online (blogs, communities) channels to audiences including customers, press and analysts.
Create and deliver core outbound marketing materials for prospects, customers and partners (press releases, case studies, media kit, presentations, online content, one-sheeters, emails, events, white papers, etc.).
Assist with the market segmentation, messaging and positioning of company solutions and partner offerings.
Work with sales and other internal teams (product, analytics, finance, etc) to drive ongoing success in direct and indirect channels.
Assist in the organization and coordination of industry events; seek out speaker opportunities for executive level staff.
Produce analysis related to pricing, value propositions, competition and outbound tools for sales and partner activities.
Oversee electronic marketing efforts including supervision of Web site design and maintenance.


Required Skills/Experience

3-5 years in communications, public relations and/or product marketing.
2+ years work experience in online media industry or/or technology industry in a product marketing and/or business development role and experience working with technology press, online journalists and bloggers would be ideal.
2+ years experience managing personnel.
Self-starter that is comfortable with risk-taking, multitasking, and ambiguity.
Methodical and organized - able to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently in a highly dynamic startup environment.
World-class oral and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to tell a good story and craft the message in multiple presentation formats.
Strong track record of innovative campaign and programs execution to deliver. measurable growth in new customer acquisition.
Proven ability to work with multiple internal teams and functions.
BA/BS in Marketing, Communications or Business. MBA from top-tier school ideal.
