Description
Under the general supervision of the President, RFP Writer/Coordinator will have the following competencies, and be responsible for the following day to day activities:
Responsibilities:
> Project-manage the vetting, creation, production and submission of RFP responses that must be developed by the team, ensuring that all RFP's are well-written, accurate and compliant with the requirements of the proposal request and completed within a timely manner, utilizing existing content from standard responses or communicate with consultants and area specialists to develop appropriate responses when existing content is not available. The firm responds to approximately 100 RFPs per year. RFP-related work would comprise approximately 65% of this role.
> Assist in creating standard marketing presentations (including articles for publications, white papers and other presentations) and tailoring as needed
> Assist with preparation of presentation materials and other customized marketing proposals and tasks as needed.
> Use various external and internal resources to research company information and industry trends to maintain familiarity with research reports and other industry publications to present ideas for industry articles
> Prepare articles and white papers based off of interviews, research, etc.
Requirements:
> Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
> 2+ years' experience in writing for publication
> Computer savvy, with strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
> Strong verbal communication and excellent, effective writing and editing skills
> Prior proposal writing experience with the ability to manage a proposal project to successful conclusion and assume ultimate responsibility for final work product while effectively project managing multiple assignments concurrently
Special Knowledge:
> Marketing/RFP Response experience in the legal industry a plus but not required.
