Job description:
This person will be reporting to a senior manager in the Strategic Support and Optimization (SSO) area which is part of the ITG Project Portfolio Metrics and Analysis division.
Responsible for probing for positive/negative trends within the enterprise project portfolio reporting and metrics analysis; recommending or implementing appropriate technical solutions; working closely with business and technical areas collecting/defining requirements associated with operational efficiency and translating them into functional design; and applying emerging technologies such as ReportNet, SQL, J2EE, Cognos, and Java to develop sophisticated database solutions.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
· Bachelor degree and 2 years project portfolio process or technical experience OR
· 5 years portfolio process experience.
· 2 years experience providing advanced level programming, data mining or statistical analysis.
· Experience with technical applications such as SQL, Access, Focus, ReportNet, Cognos, and Excel.
· Knowledge of the project management lifecycle.
· Analytical, presentation, interpersonal, organizational skills.
· Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
· Experience meeting deadlines, work prioritization and time management.
· Experience in effectively collaborating within a team structure to produce extraordinary results.
