The successful candidate will be a member of our Center of Excellence team for Data Integration. They will be able collaborate with project team members providing design and development guidance, mentoring, best practices.
Experience with IBM Information Server desired, DataStage, Quality Stage, Information Analyser
Knoledge in writing SQL
Data MappingL source to Client; Client to multiple formats
Experience in the development of data extraction and load processes in a parallel framework
Understanding of normalized and de-normalized data repositories
Defining ETL standards & processes
Ensuring timely delivery of required ETL tasks
Performance tunig of ETL hobs
Data standards adn metadat management
SQL Standards/ Processes/ Tools
Mapping of data sources
ETL Development, monitoring, reporting and metrics
Focus on data quality
Responsibilities:
Analyze business requirements and translate into ETL data rules
Serve as advisors and subject matter experts on project teams
Assist in data analysis and metadata management
Test planning and execution
Effectively operate within a team of technical and business professionals
Skills:
Experience with DB2/ZOS, Oracle, SQL Server, and other database environments
Unix experience
Understanding of data profiling and quality tools a plus
Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
Strong teamwork and itnerpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all mangement levels
Leads others toward technical accomplishments and collaborative project team efforts
Strong written communications, including technical writiing
Strong analytical and conceptual skills
