Content Manager
You will help us grow, manage and develop an internationally distributed team of content editors driving the growth and maintenance of our incredible catalogue of 50,000+ stations and 1.2 million shows from all around the world distributed across over 150 products - web, mobile devices, home entertainment centers, connected desktop products and even auto in-dash receivers. You will oversee the team charged with curating new, unique, and special event content to keep the user experience fresh and dynamic.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for all day-to-day operations of worldwide content management and curation efforts.
Scale and manage global team of international editors and their workflow.
Identify trends, on-air events and other opportunities to create awesome user experiences with our content.
Work closely with cross-functional teams (development, marketing, business development and support) to launch content initiatives.
Develop and maintain editorial calendar.
Create, track, and iterate against success metrics.
Analyze workflows, internal tools and technology to improve operational efficiency.
Pitch content and product features, and review and refine pitches from team members.
Requirements:
A graduate of an accredited university, with a strong record of academic achievement.
3-5 years of content, product or project management experience in a consumer web or mobile company.
Experience managing large, distributed teams.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to build consensus within and across teams.
Highly quantitative and organized with a passion for data-driven decision making.
Strong understanding of the media landscape.
Heavy consumer of audio content—news, editorial, talk, sports, music and feature content.
A strong appreciation for content creation.
Background in radio or broadcast media a plus.
