MARKETING MANAGER AT CISCO WITH SERVICE PROVIDER OR MANAGED SERVICES EXPERIENCE
We are looking for a Marketing Manager that is well versed in designing and developing strategic leadership programs aimed at Channel Partners. This position is responsible for designing and developing strategic leadership programs focused on Cisco Go-to-Market program, as well as focused Run-the-Business programs.
The person in this role will create storylines and written communications in support of programs as well as develop and manage the launch programs. The position will partner various Cisco teams to determine the most effective programs, tools and strategies, including communications to further the objectives of their initiatives. The position will be responsible for an array of activities focused on launches and marketing campaigns.
This position will develop program messaging which will be converted to be applicable to the deliverable. He/she will ensure that the program strategies are successfully executed across multiple channels. The position will also act as the conduit into the main organization in which this role is situated, in order to pull all the other campaigns together to ensure a cohesive message. This position will serve as a marketing management advisor to marketing leadership teams and build partnerships with individuals at all levels of the organization and works across multiple functions at Cisco. Works as part of a team to achieve desired results. May manage outside vendors and consultants.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
SERVICE PROVIDER OR MANAGED SERVICES EXPERIENCE A MUST
Successful experience in executing marketing program strategies, across multiple regions and time zones
Demonstrated ability to define and assess marketing programs and communicate value of said programs to various constituents
Ability to develop and evolve short and long-term marketing strategies while consistently driving tactical projects
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively influence cross functional teams
Solid influence, consulting, and content development skills
Able to partner with individuals at all levels of the organization and collaborate with other functions across the company.
Solid presentation skills, project management, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
Strong project management, negotiation and decision-making skills
Experience working on virtual teams and with cross-functional organizations
Demonstrated ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams to complete project and major initiatives
Ability to identify critical barriers to success and quickly determine mitigation plan to ensure timely and successful out come

EXPERIENCE:
BA/BS in Marketing or related field plus 8-10+ years of relevant communications experience.
Knowledge of Cisco products and technologies a plus.
Experience with Channel business models a plus.
Experience with video technology and the service provider market.
Must have experience in working on cross functional teams
