The Corporate Marketing department of Robert Half is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to develop and manage brand marketing strategy, messaging and positioning for Robert Half Legal, one of our specialized professional staffing brands. The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for driving creativity and innovation in brand marketing strategy, developing targeted programs that increase brand awareness, leads, customer retention and acquisition. This role leads brand strategy across many channels, including online marketing, database marketing, advertising and strategic alliances, working collaboratively with teams of functional experts. The Product Marketing Manager will work closely with these functional teams to focus on the customer over its entire life cycle. The Product Marketing Manager develops annual business plans and marketing budgets for managed brand/s, including marketing budget management for all product lines overseen. The successful candidate will be an expert in the brand's area of specialization, customer segments and business opportunities, and will develop related marketing strategies.
This role collaborates closely with our executive team, as well as cross-functional teams in marketing, PR, training and operations. The successful candidate will maintain a high level of drive, creativity, and innovation. The ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with individuals at all levels of the organization is imperative. Additionally, a strong background in marketing/brand management and proven creative and business writing skills are crucial. Experience managing client segmentation marketing programs is a plus. Experience in the legal industry is a strong plus, but not required. This is a fast-paced team environment and requires excellent project management skills. • Bachelor's degree in a related field required, advanced degree a plus
• 8+ years of marketing experience, with 5+years of experience in marketing management
• Experience developing marketing/brand strategy
• Experience with print, outdoor, collateral development, video, direct mail, database marketing, customer segmentation, and online marketing, including social media, SEO, etc. Radio and TV advertising experience is a plus, but not required.
• Experience in the legal industry is a plus but not required.
• Experience managing strategic partnerships and with negotiations/difficult conversations is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience communicating with executive level audiences
• Must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively, executing sound judgment and taking into account the company´s culture, history and process
• Must be capable of analyzing customer metrics and data and using the info to form conclusions, strategies and action plans
• Must have expert level knowledge of brand and customer research for assigned brand/s, as well as key operational statistics and business drivers, and industry trends and data
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
