Overview:
We need someone that can wear multiple hats and juggle several responsibilities with precision and a smile, including interview scheduling, data entry, managing on-site interviews, and planning, hosting and attending recruiting events. There's lot of room to grow in this role, since we have a small, experienced team and our company is growing rapidly. This position will start as a 3-month contract at 15-20 hours per week. It is based in Palo Alto, CA.
Responsibilities:
Ensure that our fast-paced recruiting environment runs smoothly.
Make the interview experience both positive and enjoyable for candidates.
Coordinate and schedule interviews with interviewers, hiring managers, and executives and confirm details with candidates.
Continually communicate with internal team (hiring managers, recruiters, management) up-to-date candidate interview/scheduling activities.
Manage our applicant tracking system by entering new candidates, editing existing ones and running reports to track progress and identify areas for process improvement.
Respond quickly and effectively to urgent tasks, which you'll constantly need to prioritize.
Possibly assist with sourcing/identifying/contacting candidates.
Travel arrangements for employees and candidates
Filing
General office assistance
Requirements:
Excellent customer service skills.
Great at prioritizing high volume, high priority tasks.
Capacity to become a scheduling wizard.
Can-do attitude.
Smart and good at solving problems on the fly.
You like to work hard and play hard.
Love consumer Internet products, especially music and/or talk radio.
Nice to have:
Administrative assistant, recruiting, human resources (HR), executive assistant or scheduling experience.
Experience using social media services, like LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
Bachelor's degree from a top school.
